Exterior "Landing" Lights

Yahoo Message Number: 12938
I want to replace our four clear-lensed exterior "landing" lights, which are similar to the orange-lensed porch light and I may have to order from a catalogue. Does anyone know what brand these lights are? There's no name inside the fixture and the local RV dealer has none in stock.

These lights are manufactured by Peterson Manufacturing Company.

The lights that CC is currently using are a slightly different size and will leave a "halo" around the light if replaced with the newer light.

I had a cover break on my '96 and I bought some just like them at an Ace Hardware store in Missouri. They even had the replacement covers.

Yes, they do have new chrome ones, but they are not an exact replacement for the old ones. I have bought them. They are slightly smaller in size and as I said in my previous post will leave a "halo" or "ring" around the new, chrome, light fixture. If you want an exact replacement you have to purchase the Peterson Manufacturing Company fixtures and then have them "chromed" locally.
Getting them "chromed" is very inexpensive providing you can find a company that does that type of work.

Have you been able to buy direct from Peterson? Or, do you have to go through a retailer?

I have the ones that have turned yellow and one of them keeps loosing the lense. Would like to replace all of them and add an additional one centered under the awning between the two windows. I should be able to pick up power from the light fixture located on the inside wall.

I personally have not bought these directly from Peterson, but my friend who owns a 98 Allure and lives in the Kansas City metro area has purchased them directly and given me a couple of replacements.
