"Engine Maintenance" indicator light

"Engine Maintenance" indicator light... When it is lit, what does it mean?

Mine illuminates under prolonged heavy load, then goes off when I back off.
Water temp gauge and silverleaf both read 200˚ F

I was thinking temp, but maybe something else?
