2005 Allure Click-No-Crank

Hello fellow Country Coach road warriors!
I loaded up the coach to head out to Colorado on Sunday and it would not start and the solenoid was doing a rhythmic clicking.  Did the following troubleshooting steps and want a sanity check as to what is wrong:
1. checked the chassis batteries terminals - clean and tight.
2. checked battery voltage - 12.7v off shore power
3. load tested the Lifeline AGM batteries - tested good with no draw.
4. checked battery voltage at solenoid - 12.7v on shore power. 12.2 and decreasing off shore power
5. jumped the large lugs on the solenoid - motor spun freely but did not engage the flywheel
6. thoroughly cleaned the large ground cable and terminal at the rear of the starter motor - no change
6. connected a remote starter to the small terminals on the solenoid - solenoid clicks rhythmically
6. tapped solenoid with hammer - no change

Seems like a bad solenoid to me but I was wondering if there is anything else I should check before replacing the starter motor and solenoid.  The transmission pad lights up, is in neutral and the dash instruments function.
