Fan Clutch Module

Can anyone tell me if there is a replacement part for the "Fan Clutch Module" DanFoss #11162963?

I'm sure there has to be a replacement part for this>

Hi Jim,

When needing the third replacement of the S-D controller on our '01 Intrigue, #11238, I went with a wax valve from Source Engineering. Part plus install was less money and it is much more reliable. My only regret, I didn't go to the wax valve on the first replacement. Temp might hit 200 when pulling a hill on a hot Arizona summer day, but usually is 182-185.

I had my mechanic talk to them. My fan module is working, it just keeps sending a fault code. This shows on my dash as "Check Engine" light. The wax module does not shut off that light.
I can't believe there is nothing newer that would address both.

What is the code that is set with the Check Engine light.  I am not aware of a code set in the ECM from the Sauer Danfoss controller, especially if it is "working".  I also have the ECM controlled fan (3 wire connector on SD controller).  A conversation with someone who understands the engine ECM programming  (Cummins or Cat) may be needed.

Slightly off topic; my 1999 CC Intrigue fails to send a
request for the hydrolic fan to speed up when the temps go up. I can’t seem to locate the control module. Any ideas?

Is it a sauer danfoss fan controller?  had same problem....the sensor was bad.  It was in coolant line and was wired to the controller.
