Bay door Latch

Has anybody had this happen?  One of my latches has come loose and I can not figure out how to secure it other than glue/epoxy.  Can't figure out what held them inform the factory.  TIA!!  -Dan

Those look like Trimark latches (and are no longer made as shown so don't loose them!), They are held in (or should be) by that large U clamp.  The glue should have just been a sealant to keep water out of the bay.
