2003 Magna Brake Controller installation

Installing a brake controller on our rig.  I've found the 4 unused wires that run from the R-side engine compartment to the Front Run Bay, and then on to under the dash....which I'll use for the brake wire.

But I now need to identify the brake switch location to connect?  Can anyone point me to it's location? 

Final question is should I do a home run to the battery for 12v power, or is there another feed I can use that is acceptable?
