Yahoo discontinue

Yahoo Message Number: 118658
I believe all of us on the Country Coach forum have been put on notice by yahoo, that "our" forum as we know it will be discontinuing very soon. I belong to another group using yahoo groups, "American Coach". American Coach is moving all their files from Yahoo forums to a new group:

groups. IO. Froxlor Server Management Panel. IO
Their new home page is:
American-Coach@groups.io | Home

I'm posting this message (along with a posting from their message board) to see if Country Coach can do something similar as American Coach is doing. I would hate to see all of the valuable information we have to be lost.
I know there is a cost involved to use the new group.io, and I would be willing to pay the first year charge, I believe it is $110.

I can see all of the old Yahoo posts, photos, files ... I've been told it will be ready in a couple of days as its still migrating the data, its now through 2017 so almost done!

How long did it take for groups.io to ask to join your Yahoo group? I initiated the transfer for a Yahoo group that I "own" and I haven't heard back fro the groups group yet.

How do I sign in over there? It is too soon, went to the page. Will my password be changed? Am I jumping the gun? Pl

OK, CC Folk. I've got a problem.
I go to the new CC Forum using the link below:  https://www.countrycoachforums.com

But I need to login to that new forum. Which apparently needs my old Yahoo Group password. I don't have that recorded anywhere, and unfortunately the old email account that I registered under went away a year ago when we moved. When I try to use the "forgot password" option for my login ID of dbhutchins, it sends the new password link to that defunct email address. Duh!
I'd be happy to start a new account, but can't find any way to register as a new user on this nice looking new CC Forum page. It's either look at it as a guest, or login using my old info. I don't wanna be a perpetual guest!

Has anybody got a solution to this issue? I'm giving up... :-(
Regretfully,

That forum seems to work fine without even logging in. It is a pretty lonely quiet forum though...

I'm a bit concerned as that forum has not been used in over 3 years and only said it has 54 users??
Guess we will see.

Hi Greg,
Went on to the countrycoachforum.com, but did not see a tab to post and using my yahoo password did not work. Any hints?
Mike

No, I have no clue. But it looks like it works fine without even logging in. It is a lousy site though, not really used much. I think we have to just use iRV2 now...

Hello Greg,

I am in the same situation as I never have used yahoo for anything else other than this fine Group. Never posted much but read it every day. George in Birmingham AL. was always a great source of information for me.

I hope this works out for everyone. I am also a member Country Coach International, maybe some information will get updated there?

Take care and safe travels.
