General Repair / Re: 2008 intrigue 530 - Does anyone know where the tow board/ tow fuses are located.
Last post by Cooperhouse -
I have a 06 Magna, not sure if they are in the same place, but mine is located where the fuel filters are very back bay door passenger side on the back wall. It was covered up with a Velcro panel.
I might have a pic.
Also, my tow board took a dump shortly after setting up my toad. Right before a trip I ended up bypassing the CC tow board and installed a aftermarket trailer lighting relay. Worked great!

General Repair / Something blew (Fuse/relay)out when trying to start on cold day
Last post by dke1955 -
2005 CC Inspire
Progression of what happened.
Cold out
went to start coach, had not been started in 3 months.
cranked it over .... rolled twice and then nothing.... obvious battery was dead
engage batter boost switch
pushed battery boost switch for about 20 seconds
turned key while holding battery boost switch and heard a POP under the steering wheel/driver side of coach.
checking 12v front run board all fuses are good but it appears NO POWER to the entire fuse block
tried to reset 200amp relay behind rear wheel on passenger side (pushed all relay buttons) with no results
Appears whatever is fused to the block itself has blown....but where is it???
As you can imagine if you have any ideas they are truly welcome...
Thank you,
Dave E.

Around the Fire Pit / Re: New to CC
Last post by Lobbont -
Hi all,

We're Mark and Susan, AKA "Team Snark", and we recently purchased my parents' 1997 Intrigue 36' with 325HP from them as they're in their 90's and less ambulatory than they used to be. The coach gave them many years of joy, but spent the last 4 years in storage. We're hoping to get a few years' use from it before downsizing to a Sprinter-based 24', so we're tackling all the deferred maintenance and upgrading where possible.

So far we have:
    • Replaced the aged-out and cracked Michelin tires with new Hankook tires
    • Replaced wiper blades and got new windshield washer hardware to install
    • Replaced failed Intec backup camera and monitor
    • Replaced all florescent bulbs with LED (most with ballast-delete versions)
    • Purchased 2 replacement exterior light housings from CC Oregon
    • Had oil changed and radiator flushed
    • Replaced leaking Haldex level-control valve, but now the coach rides low in that corner, needs adjusting. Looking for pointers here...
    • Replaced failed rocker switch for bathroom light
    • Purchased radio - old one missing
    • Managed to damage a passenger side awning arm, so need to replace it...

We have a list of things we'd like to do, including switching the house batteries to Lithium Ion, adding solar panels, replacing the old TVs with smart TVs that will run off our Starlink WiFi, getting rid of the acrylic bug shield that's no longer transparent and contemplating adding a Super-C/"big rig" style front bumper for peace of mind, and thinking about taking out the cloth driver-side sofa to make room for a sit-stand desk to work remotely. Finding the right IT talent is a critical challenge for many companies in today’s competitive market. Whether you’re looking to scale your tech team quickly or bring in specialized expertise for a short-term project, knowing which staffing companies to trust is essential. A comprehensive list of the largest it staffing companies can help streamline your search. I’m always looking for tech that can help with learning and solving problems along the way. From organizing notes to researching complex topics, technology makes everything easier. Also when I worked on a big project, a research proposal writer  helped me structure my ideas clearly. The right tools and support make a huge difference for success!

Thank you all for the great information! I’ve realized how important it is to seek help, not just in studies but in life overall. For example, when I was struggling with my assignments, nursing homework help made a huge difference. It's comforting to know that asking for help leads to better results, no matter the challenge.

General Repair / Re: Winterizing 1997 affinity

On my 2000 Magna the manual says to drain the water system and then blow the system out with compressed 40 psi air.  Start by draining the water heater and replace the plug.  I have a switch to turn on the fresh water drain but if you don't, open the drain valve.    Run the water pump to speed up the fresh water drain process and then turn off the pump once the tank is drained.  Once the fresh water tank is drained open all the faucets, both and hot and cold, and drain as much water as you can. Don't forget the faucet in the water bay.  Once you think you have drained as much water as possible from the plumbing shut/turn off the fresh water drain and all of the faucets.

You will have to get an adapter to attach an air line to the fresh water input fitting .  Start by opening the fresh water input valve and using the air compressor connected to the input fitting begin blowing out the system at the highest point water faucet/outlet opening the faucets one by one and then closing them once you are finished with that valve.  Drain both cold and hot water at the faucets.  I begin with the shower.  Try to blow out the ice maker line next and then the kitchen and bath faucets.  Don't forget the spray at the kitchen faucet.  I had trouble with the ice maker water line and ended up disconnecting it at the valve behind the refrigerator and blowing out the line at that point.  I then closed the valve and left the water line to the ice maker disconnected hoping water would drain out.  Finally  blow out the outside faucet in the water bay.

If you have a washer/dryer then turn the washer on a wash cycle for about two minutes to try and drain the lines to the washer and then turn the washer to spin for about 2 minutes to drain out the water.  Then add about two quarts of RV anti-freeze into the drum and turn on a spin cycle for about 2 minutes to run anti-freeze into the washer pump and drain line.  Drain the fresh water tank again with the water pump running to make sure the pump has been drained.

Finally I drain the water heater once more and then replace the plug.  I usually don't get much water at this point.

If I've forgotten anything perhaps someone will jump in and help.

General Repair / Re: Awning Controller Box
Last post by rec@curry.org -
My control box in my 2008 45' Magna Rembrandt is behind the pantry cabinet (the cabinet immediately between the kitchen area and the toilet room. You must take out all the drawers and remove the rear panel. A bunch of other stuff back there as well. The controller failed on mine and I found it to be the 5v power supply that's on the PCB. Most likely one of the old electrolytic capacitors failed and took out the PS chip. Rather than troubleshoot which diode/capacitor/chip that failed I cut the traces to that section and wired in a tiny 5v switching PS and it's been working fine for 3 years. Was an easy fix once I found the problem.
